The event is taking place in Humberside with charity games taking place at the Hull Ice Arena (Kingston Street, HU1 2DZ) at 10am and 5:30pm. There are also a number of “have-a-go” sessions at 2pm at Grimsby Leisure Centre (Cromwell Road, DN31 2BH) to give people the opportunity to try Sledge Hockey.

GOSH Fundraising Event

Last month, we told you about Paul Smith from Portsmouth, who will be doing a sponsored wheelchair push around the Emirates stadium on 17th April to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital. RGK has loaned Paul a lightweight chair for the event so that he can achieve his goal of 51 laps of the stadium (that’s about 20 miles!!).

Paul, an avid Arsenal fan, has been training hard for the event, as our pictures show, and hopes to raise £20,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

If you think you can help, please visit www.justgiving.com/paulforgosh to donate online.

For more information about Great Ormond Street Hospital, visit www.gosh.org.
